Description
A landscape of lovely mountain scenery in The English Lake District at Langdale Pike with storm clouds overhead ready to burst. I used a quote from Buddha relating to anger and thestorm clouds Overhead. I inserted huge capital letters in the back ground in fading grey illustrating anger from the clouds coming down to the ground and raising up in white scrolled writing as the quote is enlightening, therefore portraying that you really have to let go of anger to let the sun shine through those clouds and for the stars to shine bright again, I'm pleased with the results of this illustration as I captured the feeling of the mood of anger in this work by emphasising the storminess of this picture in the clouds overhead...looks great as a poster or wall feature. Holding on to Anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. A very wise quote and a good one to think about when you hold grudges or act in an angry way because of a person's race or past offences towards one. I am not a Buddist or practise Buddism but this quote caught my eye and has a great ring to it that holds true, to poison ones self and expecting the other person to die, great words.
