Description
An inspiration caused me to write this poem, taken from a previous poem I wrote with an added design used to illustrate the poem's content. A woodland in Scotland and the mistiness of A beautiful morning during the early sunrise. I used green and blue filters to add to the dreaminess of the poem's content written during a trying time in my life this year where my emotions have been marred by life's dramas and the need for prayer becomes apparent...
If you look closely you can see the outline of Angels between the trees,
or is it a trick of the light?
The poem that is illustrated in this artwork:
Angels in The Mist
On a sunny day waking up to the sounds of birds singing,
looking up to the sky, who could ask for more.
On a rainy day sitting on my comfy chair,
Looking out through the glass door.
Whilst listening to the rain against the window pane,
rainbows are in my sight and...
I can see rays of tender light
that sets me free.
If I could show you this
Now that I know
Life is just a breeze.
On a cloudy day
when I'm feeling sad and blue
Walking through the misty woodland
With glittering streamlets
That led to the shore...
I do implore...
I thought I saw Angels
Angels descending and ascending,
singing and tending in pairs
Flying, gliding, glowering, praising.
Angels appearing in the mist.
Life is a dream or was this a dream.
No it was a prayer that was heard.
