Description
A beautiful view across Lymouth on the coast of North Devon from the cliff Road on a moody day looking spectacular with wild flowers in the foreground. I took this picture in the grounds of the Cottage Hotel, just off the cliff path at North Walk of which I discovered that CS Lewis stayed there. He quoted at the time, "The View from the Balcony is beyond anything I have ever seen" This View must have been a wonderful inspiration to him, it does kind of resemble Narnia, the paradisic eutophia he wrote of in his classic books, The Chronicles of Narnia.
