Description
It was a lovely day with lots of sunshine when I visited York City and here at York Minster's lovely historical Cathedral I was impressed, most of the restoration work of my previous visit was done and it looks spectacular a place worthy of a leisurely stroll or to sit in the sunshine meditating and admiring your surroundings. York Minster dates from Tudor times and held the throne of Kings in those days once a most royal establishment and was included as a place of sanctuary during the civil wars, the Windows and towers are something else and the grounds are beautiful even though small in comparison, not a building in York are allowed to be taller than the Minster and they've kept to that rule except maybe the trees can be taller as the tree in picture is quite tall
