The Mound a walking space or square between Princes Gardens and The Scottish National Gallery and Museums in Edinburgh, Scotland, a place where people go to and fro in the city and buskers play or open air concerts or maybe someone gets on their soapbox to give a speech or plug some religious views. I was there this last summer visiting various places there, including the gardens and the national gallery, I took a panoramic view as it takes in the width of the Mound with a view of the gardens,the Scotts monument, the Edinburgh wheel and the old city buildings, there are some buskers here and tourists. It was a very peaceful, warm summers day, between some rain showers earlier, seems the day stayed sunny for the afternoon and I was able to take a number of pictures of the area. The mound goes over the railway lines and so does the road bridge in the distance. I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs.
