Description
This portrait photograph was taken during 1966 when I was an art student, photography was part of the course and I excelled in this subject, taken with a process camera plate film and studio lights with backcloth, I arranged the style of her silk scarf, I used a glow technique with the lamps on her face turning away from camera, leaving contrasting shadows below the picture and her chunky jewels. I developed this myself in the students dark rooms. This is an original 1960's fashion of the time in her Quant style attire. I digitally restored it giving back the photo its crispness and detail. The original print being black and white a sophisticated portrait and if you love Art Deco and sixties styles this portrait is ideal for your room as a wall feature with its soft tones of black and white in David Baily, Lord Snowdon contrasts and Quant style fashion
