Description
A sketch I did of people strolling along The Strand near Albert Dock and The famous Liver Buildings in Liverpool, it was a hot summers day and the walk was pleasant, which is reflected in the people's faces. The lady in picture had taken her cardigan off and tied it around her waist, I love the way I captured that showing the day was cooler to start with and later she had to take her cardigan off after it warmed up. I don't often do such work, I love the simple effect I captured here, using the art concept of negative space and movement, sketched with pencil and a hint of coloured pencil on light grey tinted paper makes a great Contempory print
