The best sticky toffee pudding I ever had was in Blackpool at a sophisticated restaurant there that served a supreme version of this popular desert with brandy added to the caramel butter sauce served with it and Brandy was interlaced into the pudding too. I love the simple design of the porcelain dish it was served on, it sure was delicious. Some people prefer this desert during the festive season rather than plum pudding especially with the brandy added.
